South Carolina – There is no legal betting in South Carolina. There may be some someday, but only over Lindsey Graham’s dead body. We do not know Graham’s exact position of sports betting, but if he said he was for it today, he will be against it tomorrow if he detects a slight change in the direction of the wind. The religious/conservative bent of the state leads us to suspect that they will never approve betting until such time as they come to the realization that Tennessee, North Carolina and eventually Georgia and possibly Virginia are cannibalizing South Carolina tax revenues.
