There is no legal gambling taking place in Kentucky. It could be that the sportsbooks, like us, cannot find Kentucky. The Kansas State Legislature looked as though it had a bill ready to pass, but it suffered a sudden demise when the bill that had made it through the house could not secure enough Republican support in the state senate. It would have given racetracks control over retail and online operators. The Governor of Kentucky is on board with legalized gambling in the Bluegrass State, although it appears that the best chance of passing a bill will not be until 2024, due to the state laws concerning how the legislature functions in odd versus even-numbered years.
