It would seem as though there will be no money whistling down the plain anytime soon. Oklahoma seems to have aligned itself with Texas in this regard and both states could do battle over the state motto, “If’n it’s fun, we’re agin’ it.” There are Native American tribes that seem to express scant interest in sports betting. Possible betting deals closed in 2020 would have brought sports betting to the state, but the deals fell through.
